Default Faulty battery switch

This is the third switch I've replaced; two in A's and one in a boat. Went with the $30 unit from SoCal Speed Shop in my roadster 16 years ago!

those plastic cut off switches are garbage as you found out.. i have seen generators fry on a stock model A charging system from those

If you must, buy a Cole Hersee switch. They make them all the way up to 2000 amp rated.
No. M-284-01 Master disconnect, 175 amps continuous, 800 amps intermittent. UL approved silver alloy studs. How's that for over rating.
