Cecil, have a safe trip. Sure wish I was going. What is your route after Lexington Kentucky? I live near I-64 about 50 miles east of St. Louis Mo. Perhaps Dad and I could meet you along your route?

Cecil, if you (or anyone else) are coming accross I-70 please feel welcome to stop at my place in Salina, Utah. From there you can take I-50 to Tahoe. 50 is much more interesting than 80 through Nevada. Wayno

Cecil, Great looking 50! I will be with a group coming down from western Washington. I also have a 50 tudor, in addition to the coupe, and will look you up at Tahoe. . . Chuck

I'll be easy to spot, It'll be the rustiest '50 on the lot. I'm pulling out this afternoon, in the rain, of course.

Hi Chuck, I haven't posted much here about the trip but Frank Miller has been posting a daily update on the EFV8 Club website and also on a Facebook page that he set up for the tour. Overall the tour has been awesome. I'm loving driving my '35 across America!!

We are in Medicine Bow, Wyoming now. Having lunch at the Virginian Hotel. Very beautiful country here in Wyoming. Arel Brown had a blowout on the left rear tire on I80 this morning. That was our only problem today so far. Great trip with great people and some real nice old Fords.

We are 3 1/2 hrs from Lincoln Ne. in Mo. Plan to visit Speedway tomorrow. It has been a good trip so far. Visited the Ky Horse Park yesterday. Should be in Tahoe Sunday eve. Kept hearing a rattle under the car and found a front shock bushing missing on the bottom. Maybe Speedway will have one. It was really hot today.

Cecil, we were at the Speedway Museum two days ago. It's unbelievable what Speedy Bill has collected over the years. He has an impressive display of flathead engines, components,. and aftermarket speed equipment.

Hey Cecil, Greetings from back east! We had crazy weather today, the County reports a tornado in Montgomery Co. this afternoon around 3.

I didn't know Michael (son) and Cameron (grandson) were coming, really good news. I haven't seen Cameron since Hiawassee!

I'm on the plane at 5:45 Saturday morning from Washington National. Should be an adventure getting there by air, can't imagine getting there via car.
