day at the drags report
Yesterday we went to the drags for the second time in two weeks,( our season is compressed due to the virus)
Last time we found we had been running the trans low on fluid, this time I did a full oil change on the trans, and filled it to the proper level. First time for ages we are consistent in our dial in times and ET. we ran 6 passes ,from mid arvo (25C) into the night at 17C. lowest MPH 139.8, best 141.5,ran all our passes under 9.4 with the best at 9.35.we think our best ever. We are just about on the limiter at 6400 as we cross the line, but don't want to shift it up as the eng is very reliable, and we don't want to be fixing stuff between races instead of have coffee and BBQ beef . Only one win ,and two looses, but as happy as with how we went, We are also using better methanol than we used to, which may help. The dragster is all defueled , oil and filter changed, and back in the trailer up the back. Our next meet is towards the end of next month. Lawrie |

Re: day at the drags report
Lawrie,
Sounds like you have it all dialed in! I’ll bet it’s a blast to drive. I’d love to see a recent video of one of your runs. Or even just a bit of cackle! |

Pour 20% in it. I want to see the score read, ALL WINS, no losses.
