Default Re: Pitman Arm Question

I have a 29 and a 31 Model A. Both have the shorter pitman arm, from Brattons. On both cars the spindles hit the stops when turned to the full extreme. I haven't noticed any diminished turning radius. I can just make a u-turn at my mail box, could before and after I installed them, no difference, that I could measure, but mine aren't powder coated, that would shorten the radius at least the thickness of the coating X the difference between that and no coating. Perhaps as much as 1/8 inch in the with of the street?
