In my tudor is no space to store the crankhandle and jack so i put it behind the seat on the floor.
If my trunk is on the rack i can put it there but the trunk is not always on,only when i go on long runs without a trailer. Where do you put the crankhandle and jack, tools etc.?

I though that the Tudor tools were kept under the rear seat? I store mine either in the trunk or under the front seat in my car.

I have a jack under the front seat and I found the crank in the floor next to the rumble seat. I'll probably keep both under the front seat.

The trunk on the back of the tudor and the roadster are a godsend when travelling with friends in the cars. The biggest challenge I usually find is where to store the jug of coolant, so it doesn't tip over. Jeff

On most models there is room under the front seat. On a tudor there is room under the rear seat.

Under the rear seat in a tudor ! Just push the lower cushion back, then lift up. If you shocks aren't working, put some padding in there ! :-) Points, plugs, rotor, cap etc, no room for a starter or generator. Someone makes boxes that under the pan under the rear seat, but you have to cut two big holes each side of the drive shaft :-(

In my Tudor the crank is under the drivers seat and the jack is in my back pocket.

Doesn't that make sitting kinda uncomfortable? ![]() I stored tools under the seat - small stuff in the pouch and crank and jack wrapped in shop rags to keep from rattling (also good for wiping hands). Course that was a coupe that had a handy under-seat pan for the purpose. How about a toolbox on the running-board? More common on Model T but should work on A - don't think they're reproduced but original examples aren't too uncommon.

Crank usually sits in the passenger seat.

My dad wanted my hand crank! because he didn't want me hand cranking.
But dad want if I have a flat and need to put on the spare? Don't hand crank it, if it doesn't break your arm, I will ! Yes I did, many years later, it started right up!
