Default 'No Leak Louie' Louis Trinque status

Giving all the V8 owners out there an update on my father, Louis Trinque. He is enjoying his retirement by 'not doing a darn thing' in his words. He is constantly advising everyone he sees 'don't get old!' Health wise he is still doing well, but his memory is slowly deteriorating. He still remembers close family members and long time friends. He can also still identify the Ford V8 shocks and what years they fit. Hopefully he'll have many more years and not drive my mother crazy.

We wanted to share this photo we can across from about 12 years ago during his prime rebuilding years in his shop. Our family would like to thank you all for the many years of support and friendship!

Thanks again and enjoy your Ford V8!
-Gary Trinque

Hi Everyone, Isn't that a helmet distributor he's holding? Looks like a boy in his element.

I can't remember how many times I saw him at Hershey and stopped to talk to him about shocks. When it finally came time to get my shocks rebuilt he decided to retire. I am glade Bill W. decided to take over his business and keep the tradition alive.

An older friend of mine recently told me that it is easier to come into this world than it is to leave it.

Good luck and well wished to your dad.

Lou rebuilt the shocks on our 46 maybe 8 years ago(?). No problems since. We lived only and hour away so it was a real treat to visit him and see some of his old Fords and shock rebuilding equipment.
A gentleman.

He rebuilt two sets for me. They work great. Apatchy wears his shocks now. The best to him and his family.

Louis is a real gentleman and a shining star in our hobby. I miss seeing him at Amherst, N.H. flea market. Take care.
