Moving coupe seat back
I would like to gain some room in my coupe by moving the seat back as described in the service bulletins. My question is how to tell if this has already been done? My package tray measures 5 3/4 inches deep. Has it already been cut?

Re: Moving coupe seat back
On my 28 ute I removed the sprung cushion back and replaced it with a 2inch piece of foam rubber (covered) and then pushed the seat base to the rear as far as it would go. Then cut the wood seat frame back. Whilst that is still just a little difficult is much easier that the standard.
My 28 Tourer I removed the 3rd (rear) row of seat cushion springs which made the seat shorter. It is easier but I still need to cut the wooden frame to allow more foot room to enter and exit.
