Default 34 Front Spring Leaves

I have a Front Spring suppose to be for a 34 Ford sedan, it has 13 leaves counting the leaf with the eyes on each end, also has the ends of the leaves squared off, it is 32 inches long from end to end , as it sits , can someone tell me if this is the correct Spring for my car, a 34 Ford sedan , thanks .. RS

By squared off what do you mean. 12 leaves seems right for a sedan as roadster is 10 or 11 for the rear depending on the year. 32 and 33 have tapered(three sided is a better description) leaves but cut straight rather that curved.

12 leaf spring, 33 to early 34 should have three sided ends, the leafs do not change thickness at the ends. Later, January, 34 have the ends of the leafs squared off. each leaf is about one inch shorter on each side so look for an additional leaf. Try the 13 leaf on for fit and stance.

It's 12 leaves for front springs for all '33-'34 passenger cars and commercial vehicles (with 112" wheelbase). It's the rear spring where the number of leaves varies by body type.

I checked the Spring again , all the leaves are straight cut at the ends and being about one inch shorter thru the length, they are not tapered, and a total of 13 leaves, thanks for your input I will go with this spring .

It will be interesting to hear if your U-bolts accommodate a 13-leaf spring.
