Default Spring Replacement on a 34 4dr sedan

I have a 34 sedan and need a rear spring replacement , can the "Barn" tell me what years on these old Fords would be a good replacement, and how many leaves ,previous owner has taken some leaves out to lower the car, but it bottoms out on small road bumps not good , thanks ...

'32-'34 springs are curved. All the other Fords have straight leaves. DD

11 or 12 leaves and curved as mentioned, Eaton detroit makes new ones but pricey because of the curve, I bought a front and rear set from them. My original tudor had 12 leaves at rear but i opted for 11 from detroit wich I think is most common. There is another thread that talks about this in more depth, the number of leaves depended on the model, obviously a sedan delivery might have the most and a coupe less etc. KEN

Rusty,

Here is an old thread about 32 springs, that also talks about 33-34 springs as well. Check out post #16 and some of the other posts by DavidG.

Keep V-ing and 4-banging!
