Default Wrong Pressure plate 10" on Ford flywheel 59A

Everything lined up, But the diaphram disc is too tight using a 18 case in this '34 PU. That is toooo tight against the throw out bearing face. All 10" parts, but the diaphram fingers are to 'High' . Have to go back to the three finger Ford Pressure plate. Newc

Well removed Diaphram plate. Flywheel is drilled for a 10". my 9" pp will not fit bolt holes in the flywheel- so I have a 3 finger type 10" and will try it. Still trying to use the #18 case that is clearanced internally for the bigger P Plate. Fingers of the 9" measure 2 1/2", 10' measure 2 3/4" height cold. We'll see Lots of work here. Newc
I give up, switched to a #78 case trans. Seems that a #18 case will only fit a 9 or 9 1/2" pressure plate. Newc

If I remember correctly, some ford discs were different thicknesses. I dont know if that helps .
