Default Battery group ?

Wondering what group a 7x10x7 1/2 battery would be in ? Good brand other than "Optima" ?

Neither can I. I have found that these "re-pop" batteries are no good. Back when I was rich, I bought "re-pop" batteries for my two Corvettes and el Camino. Two of them died within two years. The terms of the Warranty made replacing one under warranty costlier than buying a new "regular" battery at Fleet Farm. The warranty information on that site is also quite sketchy. The Warranty Page includes the phrase "Acid filled batteries are no longer made." I would expect the warranty is not worth the paper it was written on. These are even pricer than the Optima's in a special case offered by some vendors that are overpriced in themselves.

Like I said in an earlier post "Boutique Items".

Got mine from Carquest/Advance Auto Parts, group 2 battery, part#2-30. Dimensions are 10 3/8 L- 7 1/8 W- 9 H. Price locally $108 before refundable core charge. Had to have my local store get it in, couldn't order it online and then got a 25% discount also.
