Its not missing anything too bad. i need inside door handles and did it have a plate over the pedals if so thats missing too, and just NOS stuff other than that any thing else would be appreciated. ie. commits and how-to's. thanks yall

How about some pictures, a lot of pictures. People can point out things that might be of value to you.

Lebaron Bonney offers an excellent reproduction of the original top covering.

The two plates in the lower half of the attached photo are the upper and lower pedal plates for most mid-year and all late LHD '32 passenger cars. The earlier version is nearly identical with the slots for both pedals being equal in depth.

You can see from DavidG's post that sometimes the time of the year when you car was built can affect the answer. I would like to suggest that you post your serial number (leaving out the last 3 digits and replacing them with "XXX" if you like). You should also add your general location to your profile, you can never tell when that might be important (recommending local suppliers, shops, swap meets, museums, other cars like yours, etc).

If you don't have one already you should also buy a copy of "The 1932 Ford Book" from the Early Ford V8 Club. It will answer questions you never knew you had. See: https://www.earlyfordv8.org/Shop.cfm?id=15&pid=2 A typical question might be how the inside door handles changed over the course of production.

There were three different designs of inside door handles and window crank handles; see pages A-11-17 and 18 in Volume II.

materguru, you may be happy to know that DavidG, is the author of that book. He's one of the outstanding contributors here at FordBarn, and a tremendous supporter of our hobby. And an interesting guy to hang with if you get a chance!

Good Post; My '32 cabriolet is made of three wrecked ones! The special jewels are the top pivot bolts, and the rumble hinges. I gave up on both. A fellow 'tru blu 32' was making the bolts and then he passed, no luck finding them now. my body man is a collision expert and he just shakes his head as he fixed mine. Newc

Call Dennis at the Early Ford V8 Garage in Southern CA. They're just starting to sell off a large stash of really nice original '32 parts his dad Richard has collected over the years.
