Without a magneto I would suggest you go to a 12 vote battery. The spark will be better with the 12 volts and you can use the model t generator with 12 volts. You will need a different cut-out, one that works with 12 volts. I think the repop guys will have what you need. I used a voltage regulator from a motorcycle shop that fits the screws on the top of the generator. I don't remember the brand or name of it, but it is good for 6, 12, or 24 volts. The generator will charge 12 volts without any alterations, but will charge at half the amps. Everything else will be standard model t wiring. Get a wiring diagram to show how to wire the car.

If you get in touch with one of the parts vendors, Langs, Chaffins etc, they'll sell you a wiring loom at a very reasonable price. All the necessary ends are on the wires which are all cut to length and wound. I'm sure it would be easier to adapt a pre-made loom than trying to build one yourself.
Cheers,
Rob

Can't be that difficult for your car. A "normal" T with starter & mag. is only 7 or so wires. Don't think it's necessary to buy a harness because you'll not be using a number of the wires any way. Of course it's up to you but the (maybe) 4 wires you'll need to run can be done by hand easily. Check out the diagram, eliminate the wires you don't need and make your decision before spending any $.

Most coils are 9V. My T has a distributor and I run 6v.
If you have a 24 motor I would put a starter on it.
Now to be honest my car is 6V but I do run a small 12V battery stop and tail lights.
My ign, switch is 12V when on mag and 6V on battery. The 12v on the key is tied to the coil for cold starting then I switch it to 6v. Point being for starting I see no difference in 12v to coil vs 6v.
