Default What years are these from ???

Trying to identify the year of these backing plates.

The on on left is 42 to 48. The one on the right is 39 to 41. Note how the shoe pivot area is different

Also, the wheel cylinders have different piston diameters for the forward shoe. This can be seen in the photo.

In 1975 I was working on a 29 Roadster Pickup. When doing the hydraulic brakes I did 42 to 48. A friend had a bunch of new old stock cylinders. I found a set of 1 1/8 by 1 3/8 cylinders for the front. Now that was a cool set up. I could never figure out what those were originally for.

Pay no attention to the two downdrafts on the left side of the engine
