Default Parking brake cable 1937

Hello,. Can I get some guidance on the routing of the park brake cable where it enters the body. Does it share the hole with the speedometer or some where else?

Hi,
The park brake cable is routed through the firewall (aka dash) in the area where the steering columns goes through. It goes under a bracket with a relief edge on it that is screwed down to the floorboard. The attached pdf should help. It is a little hard to see the cable, in my case I routed it along with some wires.

Gregg,
Thanks for the photos of the parking brake and speedometer cable routings for the 1937 model passenger cars. My car has both going through the hole in the firewall and I thought the speedometer cable was in the wrong place. Your information resolved the issue for me.

Glad to help out Zeke. In general, if you need some 37 info, good chance I can help. I have several in the restoration process and try to take pics and document along the way
