S-code
Question:
Is there such a thing as an S code 428? I ask because when searching the internet all I seem to find is information about s code 390’s. Thanks Last edited by Al NJ; 01-03-2019 at 03:30 PM. |

Re: S-code
I can't recall seeing one. My Mustang GT was a '68 S code with the 390.
Found this article, seems that the 428 was a Cobra Jet piece. http://www.mustangandfords.com/how-t...428-cobra-jet/ I recall seeing the 428 offered with a '69 Mach I. |

Re: S-code
With a 428 (1966-1970), the CODE Q was used for PASS and CJ, P for PI and later R for the SCJ. The CODES carried across the full size, intermediates and MUSTANG (and MERC).
