Default New Phaeton top bows problem

Recently purchase a set of std 30 pharton top bows with their wooden cross bows from parts supplier over there,, Having a problem fitting them, As compared to original ones they appear around 2" too short in the top curve . Has anyone had a problem with the repo top irons & wood ?? If so how did you fix it , Our 1st thought was the wood supplied might have been for a 28-29 hence it being shorter in length but by measuring the orig parts not so, it was the irons that are wrong , Any help appreciated . Derek in a chilly where has our spring gone NZ

Derek,

Are you saying the the Top Portion over the Windshield is about 2" too narrow?
