Default Update on clutch pedal, lower & lower

Hi Ford Barn members. Here is my update, did not remove the trans, made adjustment through inspection hole. You can see where the lock nuts turned on the adjusting stud. The factory peened the nut into the stud groove but it still came loose. The fingers were about 1-1/8 inch away. Now, how and what do you suggest to use to keep these nuts locked in place so they don't loosen up again ? I tried to peen again but too much movement in the stud, nothing to back it up and not much room. Thanks again, Dennis/CT

Get a small bottle of the super strength lock-tight and put a few drops on each of the stud threads.

I used a thin 1/2" chisel, and also put a dab of Loctite on each nut and stud. It doesn't take much to jan those nuts.
