Re: Happy thanksgiving !
Happy Thanksgiving, I am thankful that the smoke alarm in my hallway didn't start chirping at 02:00 AM on a day when all the stores are closed and I can't buy a battery. Instead it started at 05:00 which is completely out of character. For everyone in other countries who don't celebrate Thanksgiving; it starts by eating Turkey which has a chemical that puts you to sleep and ends in midnight queueing in front of stores hoping to get a bargain. Enjoy whatever holidays you celebrate.

Re: Happy thanksgiving !
I also feel very thankful that I have had the opportunity to live in the greatest Country on earth! I am thankful that my wife who has been battling cancer since Feb-2010 is still with us and able to put together a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner for 14 people ! Thankful for modern medicine and good Doctors who have been instrumental in keeping her in relatively good health. She enjoys her Grand Daughters who help get the meal together and is such a shining example to all of them! I have a lot more to be thankful for but these are the important ones I wish all the Barners a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Re: Happy thanksgiving !
Happy Thanksgiving to all! Enjoy the day with your families and don't eat too much. Heh heh ! We all will do exactly that! I am thankful I can get out of the house now and go to my daughter's house to enjoy my kids and grandkids. I will use the walker to get in and out of the house. I am recovering from my accident and will be back on my feet soon!
