Default Seat belts

I am on a waiting list at Mid Fifty for an upper shoulder belt mount that would fit on my 51 f1. They have no actual date as to when this new product will become available.

At this point I am considering just going with lap belts.

Curious to find out how many others are using lap belts only in their classics?

Only those who don't care about smashing their pristine dashboard with their face, install just lap belts.

Lap only....none in rumble seat, thinking about putting them in but grand children all grown up so no more back seat riders.

I got tired of waiting for the 51-52 brackets, so I ordered the 48-50 brackets. They just needed to be cut and fitted around the back window. Remember, the 48-50 was the small back window, the 51-52 is the large back window, so the 48-50 brackets are actually too wide.

No pictures, but it was pretty easy-put the brackets in place, trace the window opening, cut with a jigsaw, grind and adjust to fit. Took about 1/2 hour each.

Been in the market for some seat belts too, found a nice set at Summit that are a Vintage-Retro 2 point retractable belts with a nice set up for the side of seat, and the belt that comes thru the seat, with aircraft style buckles and all hardware for about 50-60 bucks a side.
