Default Spring co ers

This question is for those of you that have installed spring covers. What kind of oil did you use on the pads?

I first sprayed on Slip Plate (John Deere) then re-assembled the spring packs. I next took the spring covers and applied Chassis lube. ( the black stuff) To that I added Kroi and then installed. If your are not taking the springs out I would recommend another Kroil product called Peno-phyte. It is in a spray can and is designed to travel horizontally. Then apply to whatever you want on the spring covers and install.

SAE 140 Gear Oil. The ride improvement is excellent!
