Default Becker special rides again....

Well thought I might post some pictures of my 1917 Speedster which I am rebuilding after joining to 2 piece crank club an my way chasing Clayton (MrModelt) to Bonneville Salt Flats for Speed Week last August. Well we put in a new double E crankshaft with new mains and rod bearings. In the process we ended up redoing a bunch of stuff to refine the car, New fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator, new radiator cap custom built myself as well as new oil cap. Put in new fuel system and now working on a new wiring harness.Clayton and I built this car for my Dad as Christmas present. He passed away before we finished the car unfortunately. Here's a link to our build thread on the HAMB http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...light=mrmodelt

Thought I would share.

Thought I would post some pics of something different. Thanks for the compliments on colors. Dad always liked Pope Hartford green and olive drab green so I added metallic to it. Lite green is 1968 GTO green dark green is 1968 Buick Skylark Poly green.
