That was something to " walk away from" wasn't it?

If you look at the film, when the car finally stopped, did you notice a clear liquid draining towards the ground? Directly onto the fire? If that was fuel, why didn't it ignite?

Do the Egineers balance the car by carrying engine water in the rear, as weight?
