You probably already know it, but you need a grease cap for the bearings too. Early ones are threaded, later ones press in.

Here is a picture of the six different Ford Hubcaps that will fit the early Ford 16" Wheels. They show the 1940 on the right continuing on each year to the 1948 hubcap on the left. Hope that this helps. There were two different 1940 Hubcaps, one for the Standard and one for the Deluxe. |
