Powder Coat Colors
I picked up a new water outlet pipe for my '28 Tudor as the one I have is rusting and rotting away. Picked it up from Bert's I believe. The finish is the ductile grey cast iron raw finish. Was thinking I would paint it before putting it on mainly to keep it from rusting.
I have one of the Eastwood powder coat systems sitting around that I used to use at my company to powder coat bicycle wheel spokes. I figured I could easily use that to powder coat it quickly. With that in mind I have 2 questions: 1. Which color are you in favor of for the water outlet? High temp black gloss or Ford motor green? 2.If green does anyone know of a powder color that is close or appropriate for Model A engine parts? Like a color from Prismatic Powders? ...or should I just skip all that an grab a rattle can of high temp black gloss enamel from Home Depot |
