Default 1936 Temp gauge with red die, special fitting

I have a temp gauge with the red die. When I went to install it in my 59AB, The fitting fits but there is nothing to hold the bulb in place. I believe it to be a 1936 gauge and want to use in my 36 pickup. Is there a special fitting for that purpose, otherwise is there another way or place to install it? Thanks Ron

Are you missing the nut that holds the bulb in?

I have the nut above the bulb, but nothing to keep the bulb in place and seal it. Ron

You should be able to buy those fittings. I have used them from an aftermarket water gauge kit. (after I cracked mine from overtighting)
