Are the gas tank filler pipe for a 1951 Ford car and a 1951 Merc car the same (interchangeable)? Part # for the Merc filler pipe is 8M-9034-D.

Suspect that they are not the same. If the Merc. was the same it would have an (8BA) prefix instead of an (8M)

I think the part no. would be 0A as the '49 was different than the '50-51.
