FWIW: Ted's comment above is probably just about right.

For example, in 1969 from an unknown Seller, I bought (2) rabbit hounds after seeing his short ad in the newspaper.

On the way home I stopped by my regular barber to get a haircut who asked who did I buy them from.

He immediately advised to go get my money back because the Seller was a notorious devious Horse Trader ...... e.g., he sold one horse that when the buyer was going home the horse ran into a tree ...... he went right back to the Seller to get his money back ..... but was informed by the Seller that his horse was not blind ..... his horse just did not give a damn.

Well, in my case, both rabbit hounds turned out to be outstanding ....... seems life is just one gamble after another ......
