U-joint housing seal
I'd like to hear from folks that have experience using this ebay seal that replaces the cork or felt style seal. Any pros or cons? Thanks.

Re: U-joint housing seal
Never had a problem with the felt so I have no experience.

Re: U-joint housing seal
I didn't buy from Ebay, but I have a "pipe rubber" in place of the felt for over 25 years --I did it because it was night, didn't have the felt, could make tha gaskets out of a paper bag and there were hundreds of pipe rubbers of many sizes avalible ---I don't know that it has made any difference with "leaks", but my car is comfortable with it's territory and doesn't mark it
