1955 Ford Big Job C800 COE Cab Project
City:
Lafayette
State:
NJ
Price:
1700
Well I've got to start clearing some stuff out. Winter is here and I won't have time to get to this one.
The cab was pulled off the chassis with chains so the cab and door tops are shot. Front fenders and steps are decent. Hood needs some repair, bent up in the back where it seals against the cowl and a bit of rot on the front edge where it rolls under. Also included is another clean 53-55 truck cab and one set of clean doors with good skins and tops. So the door bottoms for the coe doors would need to be grafted on and the door skin trimmed to fit. The cab has good cab corners, has a little bit of rot in the floor. The coe cowl would need to be grafted onto this cab, cowl needs to be separated at the factory spot welds and swapped. Also have a ford f450 2wd chassis with a 16k gvw. Had a 12' rack body on it, would be long enough for a wedge body on the rear. Disk brakes all around. Had a diesel in it. No motor or trans included, just a rolling chassis. $1700 for the two cabs with extra sheet metal or $2500 with the chassis. No pictures right now, will try and get some soon. John |

The donor cab has good cab corners, its straight. Has a patch of rust on the roof when theres no paint. No rot in the roof though. Rockers are good but they did separate from the front door post. Have a picture of one door, the other is in the same condition. |
