Default Battery Repair

I have a good friend that obtained his dad's car who recently died. It appears to either be the original battery or a repro with the Ford Scrip. I know from going over the threads that there are other battery's from Tractor supply that would fit the bill but does anyone out there know of a firm that would repair the battery. There used to be an outfit called antique auto battery but I do not know if they are still around. There was also an outfit in Berlin Connecticut but again I do not know if they exist anymore Any help appreciated Tom

As far as I know the place in Berlin (off Christian Lane) is still there (went by there today), not sure if they do what you want and right now for the life of me I can't remember their name.

It is impossible to reverse hard sulfation, with that it mind...
For your consideration:
Epsom Salt: Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate or MgSO4) can readily be found in grocery stores, home gardening centers, and drug stores. Adding a stronger acid to the electrolyte mix, such as Epsom salt, might be enough to tip the chemical balance, delivering enough charge to start the engine. Dissolve 1 part MgSO4 with 3 parts warm distiled water, then add to each cell until the plates are covered by ¼” to ½” electrolyte.

They made Scrip batteries a few years back. I would say it is one of them.
