Phil, '39 was the first year that Ford installed sun visors on open cars. It's possible that your car is an early production car, or someone may have removed them at some point. If you look at the visor mount (also used to secure the header bow on the top, to the "A" pillar) you should be able to see a hole where the rod for the visor attached.

Vic,
Evan looks real happy behind the wheel. You will be giving him the driving duties when he gets his license.

That's the right age. Leave the driving to Evan. Sit in the back seat of the fancy car and enjoy a big cigar!

Hi Chuck, c'mon will ya... LOL Everything is squared away (or as squared away as they can be) at this time. Friday will include some local garage tours, diner is still opened... Saturday is all set with a cruise to tour Real Deal Steel and two other shops and then a BBQ hosted by Tom Roche. Sunday we'll be the Beach BBQ, most likely at the same location as last years. I'm sure we'll be able to fine you a ride...

Here's a photo of the Cigar City Flatheads water transfer decal. We are thinking about ordering a bunch for our club and I'd appreciate some feed back (aka, are you interested in getting one or more for your cars/trucks?) Let us know what you think, so we know how many we should order...
