Would someone please sell Ryan a '40 or '41 Ford Pickup so we can get a new photo on the Fordbarn.com cover page! Thanks!

That is a perk of being the boss. He can keep that add up there as long as he wants to.

If I had one for sale I'd contact him. I'm sure he can travel to find a relatively good example of one of these highly sought vehicles. Here in south Texas, I've seen some very rusty ones that would take a lot of work to repair (more than most want to do). I think he's looking for one that is in much better shape than the ones I've seen down this way. Austin is only about 80-miles north east of here but they have similar weather so his hunt may last a while.

Wow, that New Mexico truck, in particular, is a real head-turner. Nice score!

Those are beautiful trucks, so it can stay up as long as he wants. I do hope he gets one, though. The other two are nice examples, too. If they are too nice, like my jailbar, you can't really use them as they were intended.

When we were at the EV8 meet in Gettysburg a few years ago, my wife asked what you could carry in those trucks? Pillows, is what I told her. ;-) I did use mine to pick up a bale of straw at Home Depot a few weeks ago.

prpmmp, I sure hope that I don't get banned trying to help a buddy out.

Yes, I realize that he has the right to keep it up as long as he would like but if he is still striking out, heck, let's do some looking for him. Of course, if I find a real nice barn find here in Montana it would probably end up in my garage.

They really are good looking trucks. I do wish him luck.
