Default Isky Max 1 valve lash

Does anyone have a recommendation for cold valve lash on a Isky Max 1 cam. Isky recommends .014 hot. It's obvious they must not be familiar with flatheads. I know that generally on an ohv engine you give about +.002 for a cold setting. Motor has close to 800 miles so everything should be settled in by now. This is a 59AB Any info. is appreciated.

The lash is 0.014" cold for this cam. there was a thread here recently where someone contacted Isky for confirmation. Hot lash for a Flathead is silly!

Maybe they mean that the engine should have been brought up to operating temperature and then the valves adjusted, instead of with the engine dead cold. I know that is what is specified for a SBC valve adjustment.
