Default 32 camshaft identification?

Looking at the grooved center on rh cam, could this be unique to an early '32 steel cam? All my other ones are full faced like the one one the left. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

The face isn't what tells me it is a 32 steel billet cam - I look at the core/shank areas between the lobes - you can tell if it is a later cast cam or a billet one by looking in these areas.
