Default Theme Cars

Just saw bobpo's 1930 Police car & was wondering how many more "theme" cars are out there. My 29 Tudor is set up like the early 1940's. Front plate has a vintage farm co-op topper, back plate has a vintage "V" for victory reflector topper & have several repo decals on the windows such as gas ration, Remember Pearl Harbor & War loan drive stickers.

Leadpot,

Where did you get the decals, and where they aged already? Or, have they been on the car for awhile?

Mike

Found the decals on ebay. Can't remember what category, try looking in ww2 - homefront or just do a general search. I din't age them that is the way they came.

Mac's (and others) sell WWII Gasoline Ration Decals for your WWII era Ford automobile. Take a look on page 278 of Macs current catalog.

In our club we have 2 Taxis, one dressed like NYC, the other Chicago. And we also have a "Fire Truck" built out of a 31 roadster PU, complete with hoses, ladders, lights, sirens, etc.

Sure enjoy those theme cars! My Sedan Delivery is just shy of completion, but my theme is already done.
Love of Tennessee and moonshine (not necessarily in that order) has created a monster already for my ride. Will have a license tag saying "uphold the 18th amendment" (no 'shiner woulda wanted it repealed!) and in the back are two brown jugs wrapped in burlap and sitting in a wooden dynamite box, a second box contains a vintage milkman's delivery basket filled with 1/2 gallon mason jars full of... some clear liquid.

"uphold the 18th amendment" Love It! We've been known to keep a little copper around here in Northern New England as well! "Live Free or Die!"

Will have a license tag saying "uphold the 18th amendment" (no 'shiner woulda wanted it repealed!)

A 'shiner may want to use a little reverse psychology and have a tag that says "repeal the 18th Amendment.

I get a lot of comments about moonshine when I drive my 31 pickup around. Does this qualify as a theme car?
