Default Rear 1/4 Tudor window felt.

I'm just trying to get ideas on how to install felt seal on the rear quarter windows on the outer side. What I remove the old one and pulled out a bunch of clips and heels but it look like a lot of measuring me a new painstaking labor. I was trying to see if there was an easier way.

this is not a hard job, i just did my 39 tudor. kits are available from several venders and are made buy Vintique. you must install your clips and the felts are shaped like the orriginals. on the top of the opening you will find two clips close together, this is where you join the two ends. you will trim the piece here for length. a matching piece goes on your window moulding and will take longer to install, i got mine from early ford parts as they had the best price for them.

Mine are from Vintique. How do I remove the rear quarter window?

is your glass good? if so i would leave it in and replace the felt. it is a little easier with glass out but not necessary and sometimes trouble can be avoided if you leave the glass in. if you want to remove glass you need to have window almost all the way up to free regulator arms from track. there is a stop screw in track to take out then you must tilt glass up to the rear to remove. easier with 2 people.
