Default Praise for Charlie NY

I'm a big believer in saying good things about people who do good work. Just got my carb back from Charlie after a rebuild. Great communication, reasonable price, quick turnaround, and excellent work. Put it back on yesterday and went for a drive today. It's like a whole different car. I also had occasion to talk to Charlie once on the phone and he is very pleasant and easy to talk to.

Thanks again, Charlie.

I could not agree with you more. Everything this fellow has prepared for me has been top notch. Good guy, good communication, quality workmanship. What more could a guy ask for?

Me? I've got a '36 Phaeton with steering, diff, trans, fuel pump, carb, and other essential bits reworked by this Charlie fella. You will not be disappointed, although he may be not all that happy about the flood of packages he gets now. We hope he continues on track for a good while!

We are keeping Charlie too busy to attend the regional chapter EFV-8 events. Spend some time with Charlie and you'll be even more impressed.

Charlie made me a crab-points unit and fuel pump. All good, responsive and reasonable.

Chris (oldasi) and all,
You inquired about a fuel pump some time back, I'm ready when you are. No
website, PM me here or [email protected]
I certainly appreciate the kind words and I do try to live up to everyone's expectations. When things do not go right your patience is absolutely commendable.
I sincerely treasure everyone here but I must make mention of a gentleman's
gentleman......Henry Horrocks..........Alice and I will never forget him. Henry is Jeff
(Very Tangled) Horrocks dad. God rest you Henry.

Hi Charlie, yes we do miss Henry, aka "Reds". I met him in 2010 at a Fordbarn gathering organised by Tom T. in Williamsburg, Va. We became friends and had some great times traveling to shows and working on our cars together. I know he spoke highly of you and the work you did for him.

I, too, thought a lot of Henry Horrocks. He was a member of our Rg #36 in Maryland. We would go out to eat when at a national meet and took turns picking up the tab. I think I owed him a meal when he died. I wonder if Jeff would collect that debt??

I did not know Henry and know only "of" Charlie. However it is my opinion the praise is well deserved.
