Great station, thanks. I am a fan of old country.

I think I'll just listen to it on the computer as it's free to do so. The app for your phone is free for a month, then it charges you $99 a yr automatically. Yikes.

I used to live in the area where this station is located. Banta is a very small town. In fact, I went there once to buy a part from a guy and discovered the place right under my nose. Blink and you will miss it.

They do have the best section of good ol' Bakersfield desert country cruising music and more. Like a time capsule. You can just feel that open country when listening to it. . Dig the ol buck owens stuff, but a lot of great stuff I've never heard before.

I have an Amazon "Echo" in my shop. I just ask Alexa to play Cowpoke radio and she does.

Yeeee..haa!! I can get it here in NZ. Not exactly my sort of music but isn't the internet great...good period music for my 48 though. For a "young fella" of 61 raised on rock music and with a bit of a bent towards certain heavy metal bands like "Iron Maiden" and "Motorhead", I can say I am partial to Big Band stuff from the same era. Always fancied Glen Millers Moon Light Serenade mellowly coming out a mono speaker in the coupe. Any stations over there where I might pick that genre up?

I downloaded from YouTube, a few 1941 era songs intermixed with Pearl Harbor news clips and put them on an old MP3 player inside a 1940's portable radio.
