building model a sheriff car
going to do graphics maybe Tuesday,I have some pictures some show a 5 pointed star some 6,anybody knows if number of points mean anything, the clip I have has 6

thanks for replys,I have been looking thru internet,police cars,sheriffs looks like most every thing was used in 20's and 30's,chevy ford cadillac what ever was available,tow trucks included large cars were converted to wreckers so way it looks most anything was used,again thank you

I do not know if this post will work but here is my first try. I have converted a 31 coupe to a sheriffs patrol car. The easy part was the spotlite and siren. Pretty much available out there. The hard part, so far is getting red lenses for the fog lites and the cowl lites. As far as the signage goes i just made up a logo and had it painted on magnetic backers so they come off easy to have car stock again. I used a five star within a circle with the lettering on the outside, hope this helps and the pix came through.

I haven't found much about the points,graphics I have is the 6 points and no reason I chose that,I have siren and red light mounted,I am holding off on spotlight for now,the light I have I don't see anyplace for switch,unless switch wasn't on light
