Right on about the Edsel! "Horse Collar" was one thing they called it. Toilet seat was another. Funny thing about the Edsel, It may have been funny to some but it was a pretty good car with impressive performance. I had a 59 Corsair with a 410 engine. They had 2.9 rears and would get 18 /20 MPG. I hate Mod. T s but I'm glad Henry made them. Like many things Henry was one of the first out of the box and he came close to paying the price in 26/27. The T was obsolete (a word not in Henry's vocabulary) But cooler heads prevailed and they built the modern A and later the mod "B'" and the 1 8.
