The Hood

Sandblasted the hood and sprayed 1 coat of the etch primer, and two coats of the high build primer, due to the cold weather I think its better to do the rest of the work when its warmer outside. The fumes of that paint is just too strong for the garage under the house.

Just be aware that some two component paints require a temperature above 50 degrees to fully activate. You might be rushing the season.....and wasting your $$.

I painted it at 65 degrees

Do you plan on painting the hood as one piece or disassembled? I’ve read where if it’s taken apart it can be a bear to get back together without chipping the paint, likewise if it’s painted as one piece will it chip when raised and lowered at the hinge points? I’m getting ready to put my Tudor into paint soon and am looking for advise

I'm using nason 2K ful-thane with activator and slow reducer, it contains cyanide, I wear a respirator, long sleeve shirt and nitrile gloves, 65*or above, your car looks good.
