If you are near the east next summer you should look at going to the Early ford V-8 Central meet in Auburn, Indiana. you have a chance to see the completion of the Early Ford V-8 Foundation Museum. meet dates and info can be found at; www.earlyfordv8.org.

Unlike the Grand National meets such as the one in Dearborn held earlier this year, which are held every five years and are the responsibility of the national Club, all other national meets are hosted by regional groups with the national Club providing financial and other forms of assistance. In other words, if no regional group volunteers to host a meet, it does not occur.

Heard through the "grapevine" that there will be an Eastern Meet as well as a Western Meet in 2020. Until then...Make plans to attend the Central Meet next year in Auburn, IN (Aug. 23rd-27th, 2019). Forms and information can be had at: 2019CNM.com

All that's needed is an Early Ford V-8 Club Regional Group, somewhere on the East Coast, to volunteer to do an Eastern National Meet in 2019. There is certainly enough time to make it happen.

I also heard that Goodguy show is not going to be Charlotte for 2019. It looks like there is no interest in Early Ford East Coast National Meet for 2019. Where is the hobby going?

Charlotte is certainly listed in the Goodguys magazine for 2019. You might want to check the Goodguys magazine , it might keep you from putting out bad information.

Lots of chatter about Charlotte on the HAMB.
Check the G.G.website--pretty sure it's gone for 2019.

Charlotte registration form is in the GG's 2019 registration form booklet that I just received this month.
