FAST Auburn Hillclimb
Lots of nice cars yesterday...fast ones too.The rem offys were interesting.one had a chrysler 727 behind it.Beautiful weather,great racing. |

Car #8,the Miller Serr speedster second picture down ran 9.5 sec @ 74 mph in 500ft..tuning is key,and locking up the tires from the jump.A lot of happy guys,one ran a stock 30 tudor,right down to the trunk on the back.As an added bonus the Trimotor was flying loops above us,it was at the Auburn airport the same time..

As an amusing aside, the CHP guy at the event ran his Dodge Charger in 10.18, slower than many of the A's. Do not know what engine he had, but did not sound like a 4 banger.
