Default How long should the wires coming off a horn be?

Replacing all the wiring on my 29 Tudor. Have new wiring harness that has bullet ends for the horn connection. Appears there should be pig tails that get soldered to the horn. How long should these wires be?

Thanks

The bullet connectors connect to the horn. Remove the cover and there will be a brass/copper connect point. I will see if I can post a photo.

The connection point is the copper/brass tabs, lift a tab and slip the bullet connector under the tab, one from each side of the horn.

If you don't have time to do it right the 1st time, how do you have time to do it the 2nd time?

they go in from the sides as well not straight out the back like ive seen some people do... What i mean is the bullet end is parallel to the brush holders.

The picture Bob posted is of the horn on my 28. Looks like I need to patch that bare spot with some Liquid Tape until I install my new harness. I really don't want to install the new harness until I restore the car.

Your new harness should have the bullet ends attached to the two wire that to to the horn.
No pig tail needed.

Thanks Mitch for the link.
Thanks Bob for posting the picture.
Thanks Tom for originally taking the picture.

I had no idea that is how the wires are supposed to be attached. I found mine shoved through the metal tabs. When I installed my new harness, I put them back the way I took them out, and yes, I have had them come out. I guess I'll be taking the cover off my horn this weekend.
