Nice work Michael. I can't imagine where I'd be with my projects if not for Third Gen Automotive.

Thanks a bunch Mike! I too would love them in stainless - be happy to spring for $50 as I don't need to watch them rust over time (even CAD plated stuff rusts - due to the wear that tools put on the finish).

Given that they will be plated I did not see the need in going with stainless, however I did have them quoted in stainless.

PS these will “likely” retail for $38 a complete set in cadmium plated. If I went with stainless they would have likely been $50 or so...

If I went overseas they could have been produced cheap, but I’m trying to support the American industry as best as possible.
Good on ya Michael, and thank you for all you do for us old Ford V-8, 4 banger, and heck.....those six cylinder guys as well :-)

I applaud you Michael! We need so much more of this to get America back on its feet!
Beautiful bolts btw! My Dad had a screw machine and used to make stuff like that, I know what’s involved.
I bet I was the only kid in America that made a scale model of the Alamo with cannons made from real brass. My dad made them for me!

I'm sorry I never reported back. Yes they are available and we've sold a good few of them thus far.

Ralph M,
I thought of buying a davenport screw machine, but after spending a few hours watching a guy at the shop I use, I determined there is more to it than I realized and a huge risk for losing fingers..

Lov it, somebody has a screw machine. I worked in a shop that had a dozen of them in various sizes. Nice to see them put to good use.

Phil,
I've emailed you..

42Merc,
I presume you say that due to the extreme height of the head.. They are taller than original, and honestly I did them that way because I like the way they look when installed.

Mike says.
Finally I bit the bullet and had some thick headed intake bolts made. Roy made these years ago but had been out of them for years due to the cost these days to make such items.

The heads are thicker than most originals but once we have them cadmium plated I believe they will really look nice on a engine.

Was told in the first post : Thicker than original.

They are nice, but there are purists on here that are biting their tongue.
I'm not looking to argue, just commenting on what I read.
