29 Tudor cowl light question
I know that the 29 Tudor did not come from the factory with cowl lights so I assume that they were installed later.
My question: Is there supposed to be a special star type lock washer between the cowl light arm and the bracket inside of the cowl? That would seem to me to be a good idea--it would help keep the arm from rotating. When I took the cowl lights off the car I did not see any washer but the bracket has some marks which could have been caused by a star type lock washer. |

If you look in the original parts books, you will see an A-13300-A Cowl Lamp Assy was offered and there was an A-13324-R Grommet that was used in conjunction with the arms on the 28/29. You need that. Most vendors carry them today, |

Yep I have the grommet. I was wondering about a star lock washer that may go between the cowl arm and the cowl bracket where the arm bolts to the cowl bracket. |

Star washers can't be seen where you are asking them to be. I use them on mine.
