I plan on driving from Middletown, NJ to the meet. My wife loves this car. It's a long story but it's her car. I own a Studebaker and she owns this car (so to speak). I am slightly afraid of the trip, but too old to really care. We'll be there 250 miles each way, either by hook (let's hope not) or by mechanic's handbook (I' am the chief mechanic)!

I am going to be there with my wife and our 31 Sport Coupe. Since she still works,(someone has to pay for my old car habit) we will be trailering the over 600 miles up,

Bump shameless bump.. But see my other post about points...getting ready to drive baby drive. I'm too old now to care if I arrive on a hook or on my own...but I will be disappointed in the chief mechanic if the car fails. The chief mechanic will, however, be treated like a king if all goes well. The wife will give accolades, phone calls will praise his ability and drinks will flow and young calves will be eaten. (Actually that will happen anyway)

Not meaning to talk too much here...but I was just out with car and walking around. I ended up re-torqueing the head, draining the fuel filter at the tank, cleaning the carb gas in line filter and generally just listening to her run and looking. It's amazing what you see and think about when you do that. I put WD-40 on the linkages and the throttle and spark arms by the steering wheel. After that I decided to order a spare tire tube and points, condenser, coil wire...in other words as I walked around just thinking I said, "Hey old girl, what mischief do you have planned that I can prevent?"
Here's to seeing you all at the meet...Drive em like they were cars and not antiques and we'll all be happier.

My wife and I will be there!
It will be our first national meet. Unfortunately we won't be able to take our "Helen", no trailer and its $$ to rent it all. We'll still have a great time! But I have signed up to learn some fine point judging

I'll be driving my F150 and trailer from Montana. The Saturday before the meet I will pick up A495 from the MAFFI Museum at the Gilmore Museum. I will attend the Gettysburg Meet and then bring A495 home.

It'll be good to see all the smiling faces at the meet. As usual, I will spend much of my time in the swap area.

It will also be my 4th visit to the Gettysburg Battlefield. I have a 101 year old friend who still is sharp as a tack. He talks about picnics at the battlefield when he was a kid. They would also find bullets, buttons, buckles and other items.

Anyway, I'll be in Gettysburg.

I will be there and will drive my 28 roadster, if all goes well. I have some cast iron brake drums to install, so hopefully that will be done. If all else fails, I will take my 30 TS.
