My ship came in
This 20 ft container load from Uruguay was sent to me by a friend from Argentina. Consists of three 1929 Model A phaeton bodies and 16 Roadster/Phaeton doors, two Roadster cowls some Coupe doors, and four 1940/41 Willys hoods. My friend scrounged this stuff in Uruguay beating the bushes, it's getting very hard to do, all those Picker and Gas Monkey shows are running in the south American countries too. Plus good stuff is drying up, it's getting to be an end of an era. We use to send 40 ft containers direct to Hershey with V8 open bodies, no more, can't find them.

Re: My ship came in
Another thing doing damage to the world of Model A's is the "rat rod"
One of the employees at work took a perfectly good '29 and chopped it up, killing and destroying it, he thought it was "cool" when he got done with it. I thought it was an ugly, disgusting monstrosity. He would tell everybody that he had a "Model A", I would always correct him..."You had a Model A, now you just have a pile of mis-mash junk" A curse on these people, these destroyers If you must rat rod something, use a Vega

Couldn't agree more. Should be prison penalty on it, destrying everybody's legacy.

Re: My ship came in
Two of those Willy's hoods will make an interesting trailer. Nice haul.
