Thank you, Terry but can you cross-reference it to Macs or Dennis Carpenter ##?
NAPA doesn't ship to Russia

You have the correct light bulb for the 39 hot water switch but there is a problem with your switch, it appears as if the plastic knob has come apart and the metal part of it is still in the switch. See if you can pull it straight out of the switch and the light bulb should fit properly, you should then be able to clean both the metal and the plastic and super glue the metal back into the knob. make sure the marking on the plastic aligns properly with the switch before the glue sets.

Ok, I looked at the switch - the metal part (sleeve) in the middle is a part of the switch itself, it's attached inside to the round plate with contacts that rotates when you turn on the switch. And that metal sleeve has indents on the inside surface that are supposed to hold a bulb (at least I believe so).
Maybe it's not an original '39 switch? There are no numbers on it, just some words "Boston, Massachussets, patent pending".
I'm stuck.
